General Journal Entry
In general journal entry we enter the general entries of the transactions. To enter the general journal entries we will go to task and then to general journal option. The window will appear like this:



The window will appear in which we will enter the date, GL account, description, the amount of debit and credit and then we will save it. The following window will appear:

First we open the Peach tree then we will go to the task option and then to assemblies. This window will be like this:

The window of assemblies will appear on which we will enter the item id, name, date and quantity to build. Then we will save it. The following window will appear:


how to make report?



HOW TO MAKE REPORT
First we open Peachtree, then we go to report option and want to check account receivable account then we click on it. The following window will appear:


The following window will appear then if we want to check our financial statement we click on the report area. In this we will select financial statement, the report list will be opened we will check the balance sheet, cash flow, GL account summary, income statement, income statement of 2 years, income/budget, income/earning, retained earnings and statement changes. Whatever we want to open we will click on that:


Suppose we have selected the income statement of the company the window will appear in which there is an option of time frame in which we select some range, current period or current 3 periods. If we select range then we use the option of from and to in which we range the time. And then we select period and click on ok window. The following window will appear:

The following window of income statement for current period will be opened:


If we want to look range or current period we click on the option the window will appear of <standard> income statement we will select the period which may be current period or range. Then we will click on OK after selecting. The following window will appear:


If we want to copy on excel we will click on the option of EXCEL. The window will appear on which we will select the option of to create a new Microsoft excel worksheet and then click on OK button. The window will appear like this:

HOW TO MAINTAIN GLOBAL

Firstly we open the Peachtree then we go to the option menu then we click on the global option. The following window will appear like this: 

Global consist of 4 options accounting, general, peachtree partner and spelling. Global is used for decimal places. We will select that we want to select manual or automatic entry. We have the option to enter the number of decimal places that we want to enter; mostly we take 2 decimal places. Then there is a hide option that what we want to hide or not. Then there are other options. The window will appear like this:

After accounting we go to general we improve the performance. Then we select the line item entry display and smart data entry and then color scheme. The window will appear like this:


Peachtree partners’ security has three levels.
·         Low level
·         Medium level
·         High level
The following window will appear like this:


In this window we have the option of Peachtree spell check.  Here we will have two option that we select the spelling as you type or check spell on save or close. Then we save it. The window will appear like this:

HOW TO MAKE QUOTE
First we go to the task option and then click on the quotes/ sales order option. The following window will appear:

For opening the quotes, the following window will appear:



After opening the window of quotes then we will enter the customer id. The following window will appear:

Then we will enter the invoice no. the following window will appear:

Then we will enter the quantity, item, description, unit price, and tax no and total amount the following window will appear:

First we go to the task option and then click on the quotes/ sales order option. We go to sales order. The following window will appear:

After opening the window of sales order then we will enter the customer id. The following window will appear:

how to maintain payments

HOW TO MAKE THE PAYMENT
To make the payment we select the tasks and click on the payment option. The following window will appear:


Then we select the cash account and then press the “ok” button. The following window will appear:


After opening the payments we will select the vendor id date, cash amount. The following window will appear:

And then the invoice number date due and amount due will be in grey color and we will enter the description of cash and discount is already present and then amount will be written and we will click the pay and discount is deducted. at the end discount account is added at the bottom. the window will appear like this:
